Are you interested in opening a Blimpie restaurant, but are unsure how to start a sandwich shop franchise? We’ve developed a streamlined process that allows our franchisees to get their restaurant started with as little hassle as possible. We want our prospective investors to know exactly what to expect, so here we’ve compiled a few of the most important steps in the process of opening a Blimpie franchise.
Step 1: Research What We Have to Offer
Blimpie has a lot to offer our franchisees, and we’ve outlined many important points of the investment on this website. Take some time to explore the site and be sure to check out the FAQs to review common questions we often get from prospective franchisees. Many of the ways we support our franchisees as they start a sub shop franchise are outlined there. If you’re interested in becoming a franchisee or simply would like to learn more, fill out the simple contact form to get in touch. We’ll reach out to you soon with more information!
Step 2: Contact Us to Offer
Once you’ve filled out the contact form, we’ll set up a time to talk. During our initial conversations, we’ll get to know more about you and your background. We’ll also give you more information about Blimpie and what we’re looking for in our franchisees. If it seems like we’d make a good fit, we’ll continue to learn more about one another.
Step 3: Review FDD and Background Check
We’ll provide you with a copy of our franchise disclosure document (FDD) to review on your own time. This is a dense legal document, so we encourage our prospective franchisees to review it with an attorney. You’ll have at least two weeks to read it thoroughly before you’re asked to sign a franchise agreement, so be sure to ask any questions you have. During this time, we’ll also get to know more about you and your background to be sure you’re qualified to start a sandwich franchise with Blimpie. Once all of our formal research has been done and we both agree to move forward, we’ll present you with a franchise agreement to sign.
Step 4: Sign Franchise Agreement and Pay Initial Franchise Fee
You’ll sign your franchise agreement, indicating that you’ve read and agree to the terms outlined in the agreement and the FDD. At the same time, you’ll pay your initial franchise fee directly to us, and you’ll be ready to officially start a sub shop franchise! Once this step is taken care of, we can really get started on the road towards your grand opening.
Step 5: Attend Initial Training
Blimpie will provide you and one of your trusted employees with comprehensive initial training at our headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. There, you’ll learn the ropes of how to operate one of our franchises. You’ll be working with a team of experts on our franchise system, so this is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have!
Step 6: Open for Business
Finally, you’ll be ready to open your doors! The customers in your area will be delighted that there’s a new Blimpie restaurant ready to serve them. Of course, our support doesn’t end here – check out our training and support page to learn more about all of the ongoing support you can count on.
