What is a Master Franchisee?
Master Franchisee must have business acumen, managerial skills, leadership, resources, and food & beverage and/or retail experience, in addition to being passionate about our concept! We believe that these highly-qualified individuals and/or companies will be best prepared to make the most of the investment in international Blimpie franchises.
We are looking for experienced restaurant operators and retailers from around the world. We’re dedicated to providing them with the same level of training and support as our U.S. franchisees enjoy, helping them to master the Blimpie business model. With over 50 years of experience, we’ve gotten our business model down to a science. We’ve already demonstrated that U.S. franchisees are able to implement it in order to run their stores efficiently, and the same principles will likely lend themselves to a simplified international expansion. We believe that combining our knowledge and expertise with master franchisees' unique understanding of their country’s culture and retail community creates the best chance for success.
What Attributes Should a Master Franchisee Possess?
There are a number of characteristics we evaluate while seeking out master franchisees to take advantage of the international Blimpie franchise opportunity. It’s important that they have a strong foundation of knowledge and experience running a business. Here are a few of the things we’re looking for:
- Currently involved in food and beverage, retail, or other service-related industry
- Possess a thorough knowledge of their local marketplace and have the ability to bring in a strong management team
- Have successfully introduced and developed other retail or food and beverage concepts
- Possess a strong understanding of import/expert regulations between their country and the U.S.
- Are financially well-prepared to make the investment
