Mr. Smit took over Chief Operating Officer responsibilities for Kahala Brands in June, 2009, after successfully running the Blimpie brand as President from November, 2007 until December, 2014. Mr. Smit has more than 35 years of experience in food service management. His commitment to providing customers with the finest dining experiences has helped Blimpie and Kahala prosper. Mr. Smit’s wide-ranging skill set and passion for excellence allows him to provide all Kahala franchisees with the high quality products, training and support they need to build and maintain amazing franchise operations.

John Wuycheck

Senior VP of Development

Mr. Wuycheck has served as Kahala Brands’ Senior Vice President of Development since September 2014. Mr. Wuycheck is a distinguished franchising professional who has worked for a wide variety of successful and nationally-recognized franchise brands, including HomeSmart International®, Edible Arrangements®, and Seattle’s Best Coffee®. As an accomplished and visionary development executive, Mr. Wuycheck helps Kahala franchisees make smart decisions when buying a world-class food franchise. He works hand-in-hand with each franchise business owner to design concepts, strategies and processes to build great franchise locations.

Alexander Neville

Blimpie Brand President

Mr. Neville began working with Cold Stone Creamery, Inc. in Scottsdale, Arizona as an Operational Excellence Consultant. In 2007, Mr. Neville became Director of Asset Management and in December 2014, he was promoted to Blimpie Brand President. As Blimpie’s Brand President, he has used his deep understanding of franchise compliance and debt resolutions to refine system-wide operations and help all franchisees maximize profitability.
